Wurlitzer 120/700 Power Transformer

Per the Wurlitzer model 120 and 700 schematics, there is an inherent design issue with the bias of the 6V6 output tubes: -The model 120 schematic shows combined cathode current to be .120A and plate dissipation as 16.67W per tube. -The model 700 schematic shows combined cathode current to be .144A and plate dissipation as 21.75W per tube. In both instances the plate dissipation exceeds the Maximum rated value for a 6V6. The amplifier should be re-biased to not exceed plate dissipation of 12W per tube. Note This item
