Innovations
Two patents, both from the repair bench.
Both patented mechanisms came out of fixing other people's pianos. The Dual Capstan action solved a regulation problem the shop hit five thousand times. Variable Voice Control started as an accident: a loose harp bracket that changed the tone when Fred DiLeone lifted it.

Dual Capstan Action
A second regulation screw on the key stick. Escapement and stop lock stay even across all seventy-three notes, and regulation takes a screwdriver instead of paper shims and a hand plane.

Variable Voice Control
A pickup rail that moves under a slider. The pickups shift against the tines while you play, so the voice travels from mellow to bark without touching an amplifier.

StereoVibe Preamp
The harp wired in two halves into a true analogue stereo preamplifier, with effects send and return on quarter-inch jacks.

Stereo Console
The matched cabinet: two channels, chrome hairpin legs and the same sparkle lid finish as the instrument on top of it.
